Ding dong

Last night around 10:15, our doorbell rings and we hear Chino bark.  Nick goes to the door, and what do you know, it IS Chino at the door, being delivered to us by our neighbor, Jay.  Turns out that Nick forgot to close the gate when he was mowing the lawn, so Chino took it upon himself to march down the street to visit his girlfriend, Nala.  Thank goodness for puppy love, because we probably wouldn't have realized he was gone until he had a nice little head start on his expedition throughout the neighborhood.  I swear, when he came back in the house, he seemed a little bit disappointed that his little adventure didn't last longer.
