28 on the 28th!

Happy Birthday to me!!!!  My day has been unbelievable so far!  I dragged myself up to go to the gym (thank goodness for Sheila, or I would have skipped).  I'm sitting downstairs, getting ready to leave, when Nick asks EXACTLY what time I had to go.  I tell him - 2 minutes - and he proceeds to finish his breakfast and then heads downstairs to the basement.  I had to close my eyes and hold out my hands and I feel a brochure-type thing in my hands.

When I opened my eyes, I saw that it was an agenda for our weekend!!!! He had made all of the arrangements for us to head to Put-in-Bay this weekend to celebrate my birthday and a long Labor Day weekend!!!!  He had talked to my boss and arranged EVERYTHING for me to be off tomorrow.  He even knew all of the questions that I would ask and had an FAQ section for me. I'm so shocked because I'm a hard person to surprise and its even harder for him to keep a secret!!  

I pulled into the gym - late of course - and Sheila was waiting for me.  She had bought me a beautiful flower painting , which happens to match about every room in my house.  Its gorgeous and I can't wait to wander around aimlessly, trying to find it a home.  She also found this FABULOUS magnet that says..."I'm not catty or cricical...just merely observant".  SO TRUE!

I get to work and Cory comes over to my desk with a tiny little bag.  She had made a really fun and funky necklace and had created these little Pin People.  There are three interchangeable buttons that let you build your own little person.  So much fun, and will provide some much needed entertainment while on client calls.  Next up:  lunch with the work girls!!!
